Canada Grants Visas to Eighty Polish Rabbis Stranded in Japan

Download PDF for this date

Eighty Polish rabbis stranded in Japan, have been granted Canadian visas, it was learned today by the Polish Government here.

Special efforts were exerted by Polish Jewish organizations to secure these visas in view of the increasing tension in the Pacific, and in view of the reported anti-Semitic tendencies of the Japanese Government.
