Leaders in American Life will pay tribute to the late Sara Delano Roosevelt, mother of the President, at the public memorial exercises to be conducted by the Women’s Division of the Jewish Section for British War Relief, in the grand ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, on Thursday morning, Sep. 25. A more permanent memorial to Mrs. Roosevelt will be the children’s nursing home in England, bearing her name, which the Jewish women of the United States have made possible.
