More restrictions against the Jews in France were predicted last night by the Nazi leader Raymond Schultz addressing representatives of the French press in Paris on the position of the Jews in various countries.
Schultz, who was sent from Berlin to Paris in the capacity of a “special fuehrer,” complained that “Jewish elimination in France has not as yet been carried out with all the necessary energy and interest.” He added that it is the view of Berlin that more anti-Jewish measures must be introduced in France “if the France of the future does not want to be compromised in the new Europe.”
