Bruno Cassirer, famous German-Jewish publisher and art collector died at Oxford today at the age of 69. He was the founder of the Cassirer Art Gallery in Berlin and published a magazine dealing with art. He first popularized the French impressionists in Germany and was personally acquainted with Ronoir, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec and other of the impressionists.
