The German radio today announced the mass-arrests of Jews in Hungary, the confiscation of Jewish wealth in Croatia and the deportation of Jews from Bratislava, Slovakia.
In Budapest alone some 90 Jews were arrested, the Nazi radio reported. In the Nazi puppet-state of Croatia the government ordered confiscation by the State of all Jewish properties and banking accounts. The deportation of 1,500 Jews from Bratislava will be completed before November 1, it was reported by the Nazi announcer.
