More than 20,000 people crowded Madison Square Garden here tonight to see the “Night of Stars” the proceeds of which go to the United Palestine Appeal. Many notables, including President Roosevelt, Governor Lehman, Mayor LaGuardia and United States Senators Alben Barkeley, and Henry Cabot Lodge sent greetings to the United Palestine Appeal on the occasion of the show.
