Wholesale confiscation of Jewish property in Norway is imminent, according to a report in the newspaper Dagens Nyheter here today. The campaign to spread anti-Semitism throughout Norway, however, is meeting with little success, the report adds, in spite of violent agitation among the people by the Hird, the Norwegian Nazi group.
Although registration of Jewish-owned property and incomes is still not completed, the Hird storm-troopers have already started to confiscate Jewish shops in many districts, the Dagens Nyheter correspondent discloses. There has also been much agitation recently by the Hird for introduction of the Nazi anti-Jewish laws in Norway.
