Prof. Tulio Levi-Civita, 69, Italian-Jewish mathematician and physicist, died yesterday at the Vatican City. He was considered by Prof. Albert Einstein to be his ablest disciple and was regarded as Italy’s foremost mathematician. He was a member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the first Jew to broadcast on the Vatican radio.
