It is hoped that the memorial will include extensions to the Manchester Jewish hospital, establishment of a Nathan Laski scholarship at Manchester University, and establishment of a Jewish school and a Jewish communal hall to house the administrative offices of the Jewish community here. L10,000 were subscribed to the fund before the campaign was officially opened, it was announced today.
