Belgian welfare institutions in Antwerp are jammed with Jewish children whose parents are now unable to provide for them as a result of the restrictions on Jewish employment and businesses, it is revealed in an article published in the Dutch Nazi paper, Volk en Staat, reaching here today.

The Nazi organ attacks the chief child welfare officer in Amsterdam saying that he is a Jew. “Maybe he performs his duties conscientiously,” the article states, “but even so he has no right to his position. We demand that the authorities remove him along with other Jews.
