A number of leading personalities in Sweden, including Fredrik Stroem, the mayor of Stockholm, today submitted a petition to the government asking for legislation which would prohibit racial propaganda in the country.

The petition, signed by a large number of senators, says that it is against the tradition of Sweden to permit propaganda, which is now being conducted by foreign agents, stressing racial, and religious differences of various groups in the country.
