A large quantity of furniture confiscated from Jews in Paris was turned over by the Nazi authorities today to the “Committee for Immediate Relief,” in charge of aiding persons whose homes or property were destroyed by the recent R.A.F. bombings of Paris and its environs, the Paris radio announced.

The Vichy radio reports that the Journal Official today carries the name of fifty-five alien physicians, dentists and pharmacists, most of them Jewish, who are henceforth forbidden to practice in France. A control commission has published another list of eleven alien doctors for whom exemptions have been approved, the Vichy broadcaster stated.
