Gestapo Deports Jewish Refugees from Denmark to Camps in Germany

A number of Jewish refugees in Denmark were arrested by Gestapo agents and deported to Germany despite protests by the Danish government, it is reliably reported here today.

The report says that the arrested refugees were confined in German concentration camps on the charge that they were collaborating with anti-Nazi elements in Denmark.

In Amsterdam, the Nazi occupation authorities this week executed a local Jew named Abraham Mensit on the charge of sabotaging the German war effort, it was learned here today.
