A civilian “airgraph-airmail” service will soon be established between England and Palestine, it was reported here today. A similar service already exists for members of the armed forces.
Under the “airgraph-airmail” system, cards and letters are photographed and consequently greatly reduced in size and weight, thus permitting many more letters to be carried by each plane. When the letters reach their destination the films are enlarged and the recipient gets a normal-size communication.
