The extent to which Belgian commerce has been dislocated as a result of the recent Nazi order eliminating Jews from trade was indicated today in an announcement on the Brussels radio, disclosing that widespread unemployment of Gentiles has followed the closing down of Jewish enterprises.

The announcement, issued by the Union of Manual and Intellectual Workers, promised that the organization would do its utmost to assist the large number of technicians, commercial travellers and other employees who formerly worked for businesses that have been suspended by the German military command because the owners were Jews.
