A check for $50,000 was presented yesterday to Larry Bell, president of the Bell Aircraft Corporation, for a P-39 Aircobra which the Jewish War Veterans of the United States will present to the United States Army.

The check was handed Mr. Bell by Benjamin Kaufmann, president of the veterans’ organization, just after the plane rolled off the assembly line. It is the second fighter plane that the JWV has presented to the Government. The Jewish veterans plan to raise funds for at least four more.
