Jewish Resistance Depicted in Russian Film of Polish Underground

A film depicting the activities of the Polish underground and stressing the heroic resistance of the Polish Jews, has been completed at Alma Ata in Soviet Turkestan, where thousands of Polish refugees, including many Jews, are concentrated, Polish circles here reported today.

The film, a production of the Mosfilm group, was produced by a Russian Jew, Boris Barnet, and was written by two Russians, Petker and Rublow. The musical theme of the picture is woven about the Polish national anthem.
