Polish Government circles today reported that 150 Jews have been executed by the Nazis as reprisal for a train disaster near Cracow early in June. Three carloads with war material were derailed and exploded, and one German guard was killed as a result of sabotage, the Polish report stated.

The report informs that seventeen Polish railway workers were also executed by the Nazis during the last fortnight in an attempt to counteract the efforts of the Polish underground movement to cut the vital railway lines connecting Germany’s arsenals with the Eastern front across Poland. A great number of German trains have already been derailed on the main German lines crossing Polish territory, the report asserted.
