Forty-three boys and girls have just reached Palestine under the Youth Aliyah scheme, it is announced by the Children and Youth Aliyah Office here. They were distributed among different settlements.

Most of the new arrivals have come from Bulgaria, Turkey and Syria. Further certificates have been sent to Iran and India, where a number of Polish refugee children, who had been shifted from one country to another, are now waiting to join friends and relatives in Palestine. A small group of Jewish children who managed to escape from Benghazi before the Axis troops entered the town and who are now in Egypt, will also be provided with certificates for entering Palestine under the Youth Aliyah plan.
