The board of directors of the Jewish Welfare Federation went on record today as accepting the invitation of the Detroit War Chest to include the Allied Jewish Campaign in the current drive.
The entire Federation machinery, under the leadership of Isidore Sobaloff, executive director, will participate in the $5,000,000 War Chest campaign which includes all the agencies of the Allied Jewish Campaign in the drive. Only the civic protective funds are being excluded, at the specific request of the Federation. These funds will be raised next spring through a special effort to be made by the Federation agencies.
