Five-sixths of the “Aryanized” Jewish-owned property in the Netherlands has passed into German hands, it is admitted in Die Misthoorn, an anti-Semitic Amsterdam newspaper, which reached here today.

Die Misthocmalso carries an attack on the Burgomaster of Apeldoorn, who, together with his wife, entertained a Jewish family at dinner in the building of the municipality. “The Burgomaster was forced to hide in a henhouse when it was discovered that he was entertaining Jews.” the Nazi paper states.

Dutch firms, forced to discharge their Jewish employees, are sending out circular letters notifying their customers. “We regret to announce that Levi Wolf, through circumstances outside of his and our will, will no longer be in our midst after next Friday,” one of the letters reaching here today states, indicating the Dutch firm’s displeasure with the anti-Jewish regulations.
