Shlomo Scheinberg, Jewish writer and translator who reached the Kuibyshev district after escaping from Nazi-held Poland, died in the town of Sengilei, near Kuibyshev, it was learned here today. He was 51 years old. Among his translations into Yiddish are Tolstoy’s “War and Peace” and Sholokov’s “Quiet Flows the Don.”
