LONDON (Nov. 5)
The session of the Polish National Council which was scheduled to have taken place here yesterday for the purpose of discussing charges that Jews are being dismissed from the Polish Army in Russia for anti Semitic reasons, was postponed until next week.
This is the second time that debate on this subject has been postponed by the Council. It was explained today that the question could not be taken up yesterday because Stanislaw Grabski, chairman of the Council, was not in London. Interested circles, however, pointed out that on many occasions sessions of the Council were held under the chairmanship of one of the vice-chairmen during Grabski’s absence.
A government statement on the subject of alleged discrimination against Jews in the Polish Army has been demanded by the Jewish members of the Council as well as by a number of non-Jewish members.
