Jews arrested during the last few weeks in Oslo and other Norwegian cities will be sent “to the Arctic” and treated the same as Russian prisoners, the newspaper Swenska Dagbladet reports today.

The Dagbladet also states that the Quisling government in Norway has appointed a liquidation committee ”to liquidate all Jewish property” in the country. The committee, which will be under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, is headed by Justice Egil Reichorn Kjennerud, a member of the Norwegian Suprome Court.

The Department for Social Affairs in Sweden today revealed that among 26,000 aliens residing in Stockholm and other Swedish cities there are about 3,000 Jewish refugees from Germany.
