Judge Louis E. Levinthal, president of the Zionist Organization of America, today announced the appointment of Judge Morris Rothenberg of New York, a former president of the organization, as chairman of its National War Effort Committee, established for the purpose of “coordinating and intensifying the participation of American Zionist units throughout the country in all branches of civilian war services.”
The National War Effort Committee was set up in accordance with a resolution unanimously adopted by the last annual convention of the Zionist Organization of America.
