The Jews in the city of Pruzhan in Nazi-occupied White Russia were ruthlessly exterminated by the Nazi occupation forces and young Jewish women were subjected to brutal indignities, it was reported here today by Eugene Kulik, who passed through Pruzhan while fleeing from the nearby town of Borisov.

“The only Jews that Nazi execution squads were careful to spare were young and pretty girls who were taken to the quarters which a Nazi major. Albrecht Austein, had set up in a monastery. “Kulik said. “In fact, the mayor of Pruzhan had orders to deliver the youngest and prettiest Jewish girls to the major.”
