No real peace settlement is possible unless the wrongs done to the Jewish people are repaired and the interests of the Jews are taken into account in plans for international reconstruction after the war, it was stated today in a resolution adopted at the national conference of the British Paole-Zionist organization.
The resolution demanded that after the war the Jews be guaranteed equality and freedom in all countries, the right to immigrate to any part of the world, international assistance to Palestine and the creation of a Jewish Commonwealth there. It praised the recent declaration by the Allied Nations condemning the atrocities against the Jews of Europe and urged practical steps to implement the statement. It further reiterated the demand for a separate Jewish army and endorsed the policy of Arab-Jewish cooperation in Palestine.
