Nazi authorities in Holland and Belgium have decided to discontinue temporarily the deportation of Jews from these countries to Nazi-hold territories in the East and instead are sending them to forced labor building coastal fortifications to thwart Allied landings on Dutch or Belgian shores, it was reported here today.

Swedish newspapers reaching here today report that in the churches of Nazi-occupied Norway prayers for the Jews are being delivered repeatedly.
