Strict regulations ordering Jews in Bratislava to report their movements or change of status to the police have been issued by the Director of Police, M.J. Dvorsky, under a new decree of the Slovakian Ministry of the Interior, the “Slovenska Pravda” reports.
The regulations provide that reports are to be made on: (1) the return of a Jew from custody, a concentration camp or a labor camp; (2) Change of address, both on leaving one district for another or on arriving in a district with the approval of the Ministry of the Interior; (3) death of a Jew; (4) Birth of a Jew (to be reported by the parents); (5) marriage of a Jew; (6) change of creed; (7) Grant of exemption by the President.
