The Mexican Government today authorized the entry into Mexico of 500 Jewish refugee children from Europe. The first group of 100 children is expected to arrived here shortly, Jewish leaders stated.

No clear-cut statement could be secured here as to whether Jews will be included among the refugees from Poland whom the Mexican Government is ready to admit under the arrangement reached recently with Gen. Sikorski, the Polish Premier, during his visit here. Polish diplomatic officials have stated that no line will be drawn between Jews and Poles in selecting the refugees who will be sent to Mexico.
