Sweden Sends Relief to Jewish Children in Poland and Occupied Russia

The Swedish Society for Children’s Relief today announced that it will spend 150,000 Kronen for the relief of Jewish children in Nazi-held Europe, chiefly in Poland and in the occupied part of Russia.

German papers reaching here today publish official data on the population of Kiev compiled by the Nazi authorities there. The data indicates that not a single Jew remains in Kiev at present. About 150,000 Jews resided there prior to the outbreak of the war.
