Bombing of Rome Coincided with Anniversary of Destruction of Jerusalem

The bombing of Rome, which occurred on the 17th of Tomuz in the Hebrew calendar – which is the day on which the Roman legions opened the siege of Jerusalem which resulted in the destruction of the Holy City three weeks later – was an indication of the will of God and a good omen for victory, according to members of the Kabbalist sect here who recited special prayers today before the Wailing Wall.

In another special service here, fragments of the Wailing Wall which were broken off when the Wall was repaired this past winter were ritually buried in a cave in an ancient Jewish cemetery on Mount Zion.
