A campaign to raise $100, 000 for religious work in the armed forces was opened last night by the National Council of Young Israel.

Major General J.A. Ulio, speaking for the War Department, today informed the Agudath Israel Youth Council of America that all men serving in the U.S. armed forces, who observe their Sabbath on a day other than Sunday will have the opportunity to do so to the maximum extent possible under military circumstances.
