Sentencing of Rene Bolduc, alleged ring leader of the anti-Semitic riots in the Canadian resort town of Plage Laval on July 25, in which several Jews were injured, some seriously, has been delayed as a result of Bolduc’s changing his plea from guilty to not guilty.
When arraigned last week, Boldue pleaded guilty to the charges against him and the sentencing was set for yesterday. However, when he was brought to court yesterday, he announced that he had decided to plead not guilty and the judge set next week for hearing the case. Young Bolduc evaded the police for several weeks before surrendering.
