Resolution Asking Admission of 100,000 Refugees Will Be Introduced in Senate Today

A joint resolution requesting the suspension of immigration laws for the present war emergency and six months thereafter for racial and religious refugees will be introduced in the Senate tomorrow by Senator W. Warren Barbour, Rep. of New Jersey, it was learned here today.

The resolution was drafted jointly by the National Republican and Democratic Clubs. It urges the Secretary of State and the Attorney General to admit religious and racial refugees up to 100,000 per year.
