Joint rule of all mandated territories by the United States, Britain and the French Committee for National Liberation until after the general post-war peace settlement, was suggested today by Lord Strabolgi, Laborite peer, addressing a meeting to welcome the repatriated Palestinian soldiers who arrived here aboard exchange ships several weeks ago.
Lord Strabolgi said that the Jews fighting within the ranks of the United Nations are an answer to Hitler’s plot to exterminate them. He urged that thousands of additional Jews in Palestine and the neutral countries enroll in the Jewish units in Palestine, declaring that such service will strengthen Jewish claims to Palestine.
