New Colony Established in Palestine; 38th Since Outbreak of War

The 38th Jewish settlement to be founded in Palestine since the outbreak of the war was officially opened yesterday at ceremonies attended by representatives of the Palestine Government, Jewish Agency and various Jewish groups.

The colony is located near Gaza, on 2,000 dunams of Jewish National Fund land, and can house 70 families. An abundance of water will make possible intensive agricultural production by the settlers.
