B’nai B’rith Creates Fellowship in Memory of Late Executive Director of U.A.H.C.

In memory of the late Dr. Edward L. Israel, nationally-known rabbi and labor mediator, who died in October, 1941, as he was being installed as executive director of the Union of American Hebrew Congregation B’nai B’rith, through its National Hillel Commission, has created the Edward L. Israel Memorial Inter-faith Fellowship at the University of Maryland, it was announced here today by Henry Monsky, president of B’nai B’rith.
