About 2,000 fugitive week Jews have been betrayed to the German occupation authorities by local Quislinge a recent months, it was reported here today by refugees who left Greece a short time ago. It is believed that the Jews were executed.

Liberal circles here have made urgent requests to the Greek Government-in-Exile to broadcast to its homeland, warning that persons who betray Jews, in the hope of receiving a reward of half their property, as the Nazis have promised, will be punished when Greece is liberated.

It is also learned that the Germans have distributed the confiscated property of the more than 50,000 Jews who were deported from Salonika in March of 1942. One third has been taken over by the Nazis, another third has been given to Greek collaborationists and the remaining third has been sequestered for an undisclosed purpose.
