The German radio while reporting Allied landings engaged today in telling the people of Germany and of the satellite countries that they must be prepared for a stiff fight, now more than ever before, “unless they prefer to be enslaved and exterminated by the Jews.” They presented the invasion as a “deter mination on the part of the Jewish lords to take merciless revenge from the German people” and warned every German to remember that “a Jewish victory means annihilation of Germany.”

The Belgian, Dutch and other Governments-in-Exile here today received reports that German authorities in territories exposed to invasion have combed those countries during the last few days for Jews hidden by local patriots in expectation of liberation by invading Allied armies. In Holland and in Belgium the Nazi authorities announced during the week-end that anyone giving shelter to a Jew, or hiding Jewish children, will be severely punished. In France, Jews were deported long ago from possible invasion areas.

A cable from Stockholm revealed today that in expectation of Allied invasion of France, the Nazis invited a group of notorious French anti-Semites to Germany and defeated them widely. They were also taken for a visit to the so-called Research Institute on Jewish Questions in Frankfurt-on-Main where they were given a report on the achievements of the Reich in the field of anti-Semitic activities, prior to their return to France.
