For the first time in its history, the Ministerial Association of this city last week chose as its head a person other than a Protestant minister when it elected Rabbi Alan S. Green as its president.

The association is a body of 125 Protestant ministers and three rabbis of Troy and vicinity. Rabbi Green, in expressing thanks for his election, said that it was a symbol of the sort of democratic action which must be taken to assure world peace. He said we need unity in the faiths, particularly in the present world situation. Rev. Wilford P. Fowler, pastor of a Baptist church, was elected vice-president.
