B’nai B’rith Youth Organization Calls off Convention As Aid to War Effort

The national summer leadership training institute and 21st national convention of Aleph Zadik Aleph, B’nai B’rith youth organization, scheduled to have been held on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., July 12th to 26th, has been cancelled in compliance with the request of the Office of Defense Transportation to make all possible transportation facilities available for increased military needs due to the invasion, it was announced here today by Philip M. Klutznick, president of the Supreme Advisory Council of A.Z.A. This is the second successive year that A.Z.A. has called off its national convention as a war measure.
