Funeral services were held here yesterday for Rabbi Gedaliah Silverstone, 74, a former resident of Washington D. C., who served as rabbi of the Combined Congregations there for more than 20 years. Rabbi Silverstone, who was chief rabbi of Belfast, Ireland at one time, was an active Zionist and the author of many religious books.
