President Roosevelt today received Dr. Stephen S. Wise, chairman of the American Zionist Emergency council with whom, it is understood, he discussed the plank in the Democratic Party platform favoring unrestricted Jewish immigration into Palestine and the ultimate establishment of a Jewish Commonwealth in Palestine.
