Jewish leaders in all walks of life today honored James N. Rosenberg, prominent Jewish leader, on the occasion of his 70th birthday, at a gathering at the Lotos Club here. Members of the Joint Distribution Committee, of which Mr. Rosenberg is chairman of the board of directors, observed his birthday at a party yesterday tendered by Paul Baerwald, J.D.C. chairman.

Mr. Rosenberg observed his birthday by going to his office as usual. In addition to his leadership in Jewish affairs, Mr. Rosenberg is one of the best-known lawyers in the country and a painter and writer.
