Rededication of the first synagogue in Belgrade to resume services since the Yugoslav capital was liberated from the Germans took place over the week-end, the Belgrade radio reported today.
Present at the services were civil and military representatives of the new Yugoslav Government, including Moshe Piade, prominent Jewish member of the Tito Government. In the congregation were members of allied military missions, Jewish partisans and the few Belgrade Jews who survived the occupation. Prayers were recited for these who fell in the battle to liberate Belgrade.
