No Jews Remain in Rhodes; Many Deportees Lost when Ships Sunk in Aegean

There are no Jews remaining in Rhodes, largest of the Dodecanese Islands, according to information reaching the New Zionist organization here. After the withdrawal of the Italian garrison in July, 1943, the Germans deported the Jews to Greece. Two of the vessels bearing the deportees were sunk in the Aegean.
