Enroute to Mexico from the World Trades Union Conference at London where he represented the Confederation of Latin American Workers, Vicente Lombardo Toledano, the confederation president, told the JTA today that the new world labor organization being formed would actively support the creation of a Jewish National Home in Palestine “with due respect for the rights of all other national groups there.”
Lombardo Toledano said that in the plenary sessions on this subject only two of the 200 delegates present voted against the Palestine resolution. They were the representatives of the Palestine Arabs Workers’ Society.
