The Synagogue Council of America today called upon all Jews of the country to observe Wednesday, March 14, as a day of mourning and intercession on behalf of the European Jewish victims of Nazi oppression and persecution. The Jews of the country are asked to make this a semi-fast day, to attend their synagogues and temples for intercession and to contribute to rescue funds.
