Commonting on the opening of the San Francisco conference, the influential labor daily Davar protests the fact that “we who were the first to be attacked in this war, and who suffered the most, are not represented at the conference.” The Davar editerial demands that the United Nations take steps to establish a Jewish State in Palestine.
